HOW IT WORKS
Four stages.
One winning product.
A single connected flow, from idea generation to actionable product blueprints. Here's exactly how each stage works and what makes it unlike anything else.
Niche Discovery
Where it starts, discover the potential product. Find ideas the market hasn't picked clean, even where you thought you'd seen it all.

LLM Discovery Engine
An AI engine that surfaces fresh, non-obvious ideas, even in categories that feel saturated.
Semantic Focus Areas
Filters by the meaning of your interests using semantic search, not rigid exact-match keywords.
Intelligent Market Thresholds
Turns niche discovery inputs into intelligent validation criteria, using both standard and advanced signals from user-defined filters.

Long-Tail Keyword Clusters
Generates a full cluster of descriptive, niched keywords that target specific market segments, not generic terms.
Bring Your Own Niche
Already have an idea? Upload your own CSV and drop it straight into the pipeline below.

After discovery, send any niche from your recent searches further into the pipeline.
Viability
The clearest read on a market you'll get, the entire niche judged against your criteria, not a single listing.

Market Image Table
Centralizes every page-1 competitor into one view, and keeps it as a living baseline for the niche, not a one-time scan.
Duplicate-Aware Averages
Toggle duplicates on/off, averages and metrics recalculate without repeats for a true market baseline.
Organic vs Sponsored Views
Separate paid placements from true organic ranking to read demand honestly.
+Add ASIN
Pull in listings page 1 misses, or from related keywords in the same segment, for a more accurate baseline.
Remove & Restore Listings
Drop irrelevant results to clean your niche, and put any listing back the moment you need it.

Viability Score
Scores the niche against your Market Thresholds, price, revenue, reviews, rating and more, weighing the whole market against your filters rather than a single listing.
Profitability
The most advanced Amazon P&L there is, every fee mapped, nothing hidden.

Advanced P&L Calculator
Accounts for every cost that hits your margin, down to the fees most calculators skip.
Exact HTS & Tariff Finder
Pinpoints the right HTS code and calculates your real duty on current rates, so you don't have to decode it yourself.
Competitor-Based Pricing Scenarios
Models profitability across real competitor price points, not a single guessed price.

Verified Supplier Matching
Finds verified Alibaba suppliers for any product, giving you a reliable COGS baseline that flows straight into the calculator.
Intelligent Storage Fee Engine
Set a start month and duration; it builds a month-by-month timeline across Amazon's off-peak/peak shifts and utilization bands.

Profitability Score
Scores competitor-based cost scenarios against your margin and ROI targets, once fees, tariffs, freight and supplier costs are all factored in.
Deep Dive
Finally, a real read on your competition: a full teardown of real products, not backend data you're left to interpret.
Real-Product Competitor Analysis
Reads actual listings, tech specs, what's in the box, differentiators and downsides for every competitor.
Vision-Powered Listing Reads
Analyzes listing photos, not just text, to capture details the copy never mentions.
Review Intelligence
Mines reviews for genuine pain points and the parts customers love.
Patent & Compliance Check
Lists the regulatory standards the product must meet, and surfaces patents that may relate from the public patent record, each with an automated read on relevance and a link to the original entry. Not a clearance search.
Seasonality Insight
Shows when demand actually peaks across the year.
Grounded SWOT Analysis
A SWOT built from every prior stage, not generic guesswork.

Deep Dive Score
Scores whether your potential offering could actually compete in this segment, based on the real competitors analyzed, a read on where you'd stand, backed by written reasoning and a clear verdict.

Why this approach works
Traditional tools stop at data. We start where the real work begins, turning that data into a clear call on your next product, faster than ever.
End to end
One flow from discovery to decision. Every stage feeds the next, all your R&D lives in one place, and nothing gets lost.
Whole-Market
Validates the entire niche against your criteria, not a single listing, so you judge the market you'd actually compete in.
True economics
Real fees, tariffs, and supplier-sourced costs are baked in, making the profit you see the profit you keep.
Clear verdicts
Every stage ends in a score and a verdict with reasoning, so you leave knowing what to do, not with a spreadsheet to interpret.
Frequently asked questions
The Basics
What does SKUASCOUT actually do?
SKUASCOUT takes you from finding an Amazon niche all the way to a launch decision. It runs in four stages, Niche Discovery, Viability, Profitability, and Deep Dive, and each one scores the opportunity, so you end up with a clear, data-backed read on whether a product is worth pursuing.
It doesn't stop at the verdict. Once a niche clears, you get a product blueprint, tech specs, winning angles, differentiating features, what goes in the box, and much more, plus a sourcing-ready RFQ you can copy and send to suppliers straight away. You go from "this looks good" to something you can actually act on.
Do I need to already have a product idea, or does it find them for me?
Either way works. You can start right in the app by exploring niches based on your criteria, or upload your own CSV to pull a niche you already have in mind into the pipeline.
Who is this app suited for?
If you're looking for your first product, the hard part isn't effort, it's knowing what a good opportunity looks like and which numbers matter. The app gives you the structure and shows you the reasoning, so you learn the process by using it.
If you've been selling for years, you already know what good research looks like, you're just doing it across six spreadsheets and lots of tabs, and it takes days. This takes that process, sharpens it, and turns it into a repeatable pipeline that runs in a fraction of the time. You set the thresholds that matter to your business; every niche gets measured against them the same way. No fatigue, no shortcuts on niche number thirty, no gut calls dressed up as analysis.
Whether you're out of ideas in your current categories, scaling into new ones, looking to improve a product you already sell, or just want a rigorous R&D process instead of an ad-hoc one, this is the fastest route from "maybe" to "yes, and here's the product."
Is this for Amazon only, or other platforms too?
The app is currently built specifically for Amazon US product research, so every metric and calculation is tuned to how Amazon US works, including fees, rankings, competition, and margins. Amazon UK support is planned for the next upgrade.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Every new account gets 250 free credits, no payment card, and we never charge you at the end. Sign up through a friend's referral link and you get 500 total, double the standard grant. Free credits last 30 days from registration. The free grant is once per person: an account that replaces one you deleted starts without it.
It works the other way too: share your link and you get 500 credits when someone you referred subscribes. Those don't expire. See our Referral Program Terms.
How It Works
How does the niche generation work?
Our niche-generation engine runs on an advanced, LLM-based methodology, trained to understand exactly what you're looking for and surface niches that genuinely match your interests, rather than broad, generic categories.
Can SKUASCOUT find niches in every Amazon category?
Niche discovery currently supports these Amazon categories:
Appliances · Arts, Crafts & Sewing · Automotive · Baby · Beauty & Personal Care · Cell Phones & Accessories · Computers & Accessories · Electronics · Health & Household · Home & Kitchen · Industrial & Scientific · Kitchen & Dining · Musical Instruments · Office Products · Patio, Lawn & Garden · Pet Supplies · Sports & Outdoors · Tools & Home Improvement
For anything outside this list, the + Add function lets you bring in an external niche and run it through the entire flow.
Where does your data come from, and how current is it?
Several backend integrations pull live Amazon market data, so you're working with a current snapshot rather than stale numbers. Fee and tariff rates are refreshed regularly and the date they were last updated is always shown.
It comes from third-party sources and we pass it on as we receive it, so verify anything you're about to commit money to.
Is the analysis written by AI?
Yes. An analysis combines retrieved data, figures we calculate from it, and written analysis and scores produced by AI. No person reviews it before you see it.
AI can be wrong, out of date, or confidently specific about something that isn't true. Treat every output as a strong starting point for your own research, not a finding you can act on unchecked. More detail in our Terms.
What's the difference between the Viability, Profitability, and Deep Dive scores?
Each answers a different question. Viability asks "does this market fit my criteria?" Profitability asks "can I actually make money here after all the costs?" Deep Dive asks "can my product compete against the real players in this niche?" Together they build toward a single Master Score for the whole niche.
How does it find suppliers and COGS?
The app matches your product to specific named suppliers on Alibaba, so your COGS is grounded in real sourcing costs rather than a guess.
Those costs come from suppliers' public listing prices, not quotes issued to you, a real quote depends on your volumes, spec and terms. Any verification badge is Alibaba's assessment, not ours: we don't vet suppliers, so do your own checks before sending anyone money.
You can adjust any figure once you have your own quotes, and editing never costs credits. The RFQ the app generates is built for exactly this.
Tools You Already Use
How is this different from other Amazon research tools?
While other Amazon tools are platforms built around keyword research, listing optimization, PPC, inventory or operations, they lightly touch the R&D side of the business. This app serves a different purpose: it's a focused R&D tool built around the go/no-go decision. It takes one opportunity through validation, true profitability and a competitive deep dive, then turns it into a build-ready blueprint and a sourcing-ready RFQ.
Most tools end at a number on a dashboard. This one ends with something you can send.
Trust, Accuracy & Risk
Will this guarantee I find a winning product?
No tool can honestly promise that, and we won't. What the app does is remove the guesswork: it shows you where the demand, the margins, and the competition actually stand, so your decisions are based on data instead of hope. It stacks the odds in your favor; it doesn't replace judgment.
Is my research and data private?
Yes. Your research, uploads and niche opportunities are stored securely and kept private to your account.
When you upload a CSV, we read the columns we need and discard the file itself. Full detail in our Privacy Policy.
Pricing & Practical
What happens to my credits if a process fails?
Credits are charged when a process starts, because that immediately triggers the app's background integrations.
- Our fault, data source down, timeout, server error: we return the credits in full.
- You cancel a run in progress: the credits come back, as long as there was a live run to interrupt. Cancel is offered for the first 40 seconds after a run starts, then hidden while the run is progressing normally, then offered again if the run goes past the time its job type should take. A run that already finished and delivered its result keeps its charge.
- Your input was the problem: we validate before charging, so most cases are caught first. If an analysis genuinely runs and then hits bad data, the credits are used and you get a clear error.
Uploading a CSV costs credits too, since it triggers the same integrations, but we check the file first, so a file we can't read is never charged for. Viewing work you've already generated never costs credits. Full detail in How Credits Work.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, turn off renewal any time, in no more steps than signing up took.
Monthly plans run to the end of the current billing period, then stop. Annual plans run to the end of the year you've paid for; you keep full access until then. See below on refunds.
Can I get a refund?
In your first 14 days, consumers in the EU or EEA can withdraw from any purchase and get their money back, no reason needed. We deduct only the credits you actually used; if you used none, you get everything back. Refunds go to your original payment method within 14 days, at no cost to you.
After 14 days, your plan runs to the end of the term you've paid for. Annual plans aren't refunded partway through.
Always, whatever the plan: if the Service isn't working as described, or we change it in a way that meaningfully reduces what you get, you can leave early and we refund the unused part of your term. Billing errors and unauthorized payments are always refunded.
Full detail in Terms §7 for the 14 days, and Terms §8 for leaving early when something is wrong.
Do you offer team or enterprise access?
Yes. For agencies, teams, and training programs we offer Enterprise access with a custom credit allotment, volume pricing and dedicated support, under a separate agreement.
Get in touch at hello@skuascout.com and we'll set it up.
Do you offer support or onboarding?
Yes. There's in-app guidance throughout, and you can reach out for help whenever you get stuck.
